White moves the king's pawn to e4. Black plays the king's pawn to e5. White develops the light-squared bishop to c4.

Black advances the c-pawn to c6. White pushes the queen's pawn to d4. Black pushes the queen's pawn to d5.

White captures on d5 with the king's pawn. Black captures on d5 with the c-pawn. White places the light-squared bishop to b5, giving check.

Black develops the light-squared bishop to d7. White captures with the light-squared bishop on d7, giving check. Black develops the knight to d7.

White captures on e5 with the queen's pawn. Black captures with the knight on e5. White develops the knight to e2.
